As award-winning, singer Tuface Idibia, exits the singles club, the world is watching the lips of some other ‘eligible’ artistes. Singer Innocent Idibia, aka Tuface, will happily tie the nuptial knots with his heartthrob of many years, Nollywood actress Annie Macaulay in Dubai on Saturday (tomorrow).
For the couple, who are both stars in their own rights, the much-vaunted wedding is the climax of a relationship that has somewhat managed to survive many storms and crises. Before Tuface made the all-important decision to walk down the aisle with Annie, many music fans had literally concluded that he was not marriageable. With about five children from three women, most single ladies had stopped dreaming of grabbing him for keeps.
For a while, the talented singer was the butt of many jokes rolling down the lips of every stand-up comedian in the country. Some of them even referred to him by funny pseudonyms. They called him ‘Father Abraham’. But all that now belongs to the past.
As the hour draws near, Tuface and his bride will be counting their blessings and looking forward to a future filled with marital bliss. Its been largely rumoured that she’s having problems getting a ‘suitable’ man that will marry her and her age is running, others say its just some family issues she’s battling with and needs help.
Whatever the case may be, the gist is that former most beautiful girl in Nigeria, Manuchi Abii, who got many talking with her boobs exposing dress on her birthday recently, is seeking spiritual help from the man of God at the Synagogue, Prophet T.B. Joshua.
A source told reporters that Muna, who was seen sneaking into the church, is not the only Lagos babe who goes to the Synagogue for help, in spite of the many criticism against the popular Prophet.
Whatever she’s looking for, hope she finds it and eventually learn to live right.
A Nigerian court based in the capital Abuja has ordered a 16-year-old girl, Maryam Suleiman, and her parents to refund N570,000(about $4,000) to her husband, Mukailu Naibi, over a fraudulent marriage.
The judge in the Area Court sitting in Lugbe, Haruna Masanawa, ruled that Suleiman and her parents must refund the money to Naibi within 30 days. Masanawa also ordered that Naibi’s estranged wife, who had filed for divorce, must remain married to him pending the full refund of the amount.
