Shameless Photo of the Day: Title This Yourself

The rate at which nudity has become a norm leaves one to wonder if there’s a gradual shift back to times in the Garden of Eden, before the serpent came into the picture… It has become extremely difficult difficult to draw the line between a whole and a non-whore… To a large extent, those who are found dressing like this hide under the pretence of either trying to ‘be themselves’ or ‘flaunting what they got’… That is not my ‘P’ not worry about… My question here is; as a man, would you (really) allow your woman dress like this to a public (or private) function? Guyz and gentlemen, please sincere here… Don’t forget to share… @mouzizidu

Ini Edo’s Marriage In Trouble

ini edoAccording to Global News magazine; in a typical African society like ours, there are certain norms and behaviour expected of married women, and there are those looked upon as taboos especially when the women are not in company of their husbands.

It is therefore surprising that more than three years after she tied the knot, Ini Edo Ehiagwina is still of the belief that she is still that explosive single lady.

These days, Ini Edo has been caught behaving more irresponsibly than when she was still a spinster. The plump dark-skinned actress who got married to Philip Ehiagwina, a US-based Nigerian divorcee has not come to terms Continue reading

Half of a Yellow Sun: Most Expensive Nollywood Movie

Half of a Yellow Sun

In case you don’t know, transcendent novel of many descriptive triumphs – Half of a Yellow Sun, a book written by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie has been adopted into a movie.

The movie was shot at Tinapa Film Studio, Cross River State, and in the United Kingdom.

The yet to be released film, directed by Biyi Bandele, has most of its cast and crew flown from abroad. The cast comprised Britons and Nigerians such as Chiwetel Ejiofor of Kinky Boots, American Gangster, 2012, Salt; Thandie Newton (Mission: Impossible II, Crash, The Pursuit of Happiness); Anika Noni Rose (Dreamgirls, The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency, For Coloured Girls); Joseph Mawle (Women in Love, Game of Thrones); John Boyega (Attack the Block); Onyeka Onwenu, Nigerian singer and actress; Genevieve Nnaji and Zack Orji.

Before the emergence of ‘Half of a Yellow Sun,’ ‘Tango with Me’ produced by Mahmoud Ali-Balogun, ranked the most expensive film. Shot with the latest Kodak 35mm camera, ‘Tango with Me’ costs over N50 million to make, says Ali-Balogun. In a bid to make a difference in an industry populated by poorly produced films, Balogun travelled to Bulgaria to master film technology. The end product of the trip was an outstanding film that ‘Half of a Yellow Sun’ has rivalled.

The movie is said to become the most expensive Nollywood movie ever worth about N1.27billion in production cost, new reports claim.

Atiku begins 2015 campaign by giving shoes to the shoe-less

In preparation for his 2015 massive campaign, former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar gives out shoes to the shoe-less.

Reasons behind his motive cannot to be totally ascertained as at the time of this post, but it is believed that he, Mr Atiku is trying to give back to Nigerians what the incumbent president deceitfully took away during his campaign.

But the questions on the lips of so many still remains, should Atiku provide shoes for the shoe-less, will the shoes cater for  more 100 million people? Since it is believed that 85% of Nigerians live below $1 (N150.00) per day.

The political routine in Nigeria still remains on the table of ‘give-and-take’ i.e. if he gives shoes to the shoe-less and they vote him into power, you can be sure he would take back the shows 2-weeks after his swearing-in.

Alhaji Atiku, please be careful what you wish you wish for.

Pics of the Day

Building Upon Destruction, Culled from RD REVILO

Seeing this picture made me giggle, but with a frown in my heart. The practical manners humans have developed for mis-behavioural decency cannot be over-emphasized. I can guarantee you one thing, if any guy, dude, boy (male gender) is caught dressing like this in the streets of Lagos, Nigeria, I can  assure you such a ‘fella’ would have been seriously dealt with before the mere consideration of a spiritual angle.

To acclaimed developed (1st world) countries. I don’t know if the paradigm shift of is declining or moving forward. I don’t want to believe its a move back to the ‘then’ Garden of Eden.
